Job Description

Production Manager (MNC) Up to 220000 THB/ month (Chemical Plant)

Location: Nakhon Sawan Province (onsite)

Project: Commissioning/ Greenfield

Your background: Degree in Chemical Engineering experienced in setting up a new plant

Languages: Native Thai Speaker with business level English

The worlds leading manufacturer of advanced materials and chemicals is commissioning their plant in Nakhon Sawan and looking for an efficient Production Manager to help lead relevant process & procedures to success.

This role suits you if youre an experienced production leader whos always on top of things and dont mind being hands-on in quite a lean organization. Youll lead the direct report of approx.

• Fast learner happy to be hands-on

Expectation on delivery:

• Deliver on whats needed and/ or urgent things that need to have when setting up plant e.g. production plan team/ people ad-hocs procedures assignments commitment
• Lead by example roll up sleeves/ hand-on

Report to: Plant Manager (Thai)and also work closely with the US team -this role will be applying/ implementing the best practice from the US team

Direct Reports: Production Engineer Technologists Technician - 20-30 people under your leadership as the plant is automated similar to petrol plant or chemical plant

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• An office environment with the need to spend time in chemical / plastic manufacturing facility
• Usage of office equipment e.g. computers fax machines telephones and copy machine
• Ability to at times lift up to 50 pounds safely alone or with assistance; following Company safety and ergonomic guideless to avoid injury

Your background:

• 5 years of production plant operations experience within a manufacturing industry required.
• Fast learner accountable and attention to details including teams and environmental safety factors
• Experienced in/related to polymers or petrochemical plant
• Experienced in plant set up/ commissioning plant
• 1 years experience administering and/or managing an effective and proactive safety program required.
• Degree in chemical engineering
• Native Thai speaker with business level English skills
