Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned material and service categories.
  • Optimize procurement costs through TCO analyses Value Engineering initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
  • Analyze supplier markets and industry trends identifying risks and opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Manage the supplier base including selection qualification evaluation and development based on quality cost and logistics KPIs.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and conclude framework agreements and long-term contracts.
  • Cooperate with global and European procurement teams and participate in consolidation initiatives.
  • Work closely with Production Logistics R&D Quality and Planning departments including procurement support for NPI/NPD projects.
  • Ensure continuity of supply and component availability while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Manage sourcing processes including RFI RFQ and RFP as well as price benchmarking and scenario

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • University degree (Logistics Economics Management Engineering or similar).
  • 35 years of experience in strategic procurement (Strategic / Technical Buyer) within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes category management and cost analysis (TCO benchmarking).
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to build long-term supplier relationships.
  • Good command of English (min. B2) and experience working in an international environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strategic proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with global suppliers sustainability in procurement or professional certifications (e.g. CIPS) will be an advantage.
