Travel Radiology Technologist
Location: Hyannis MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week Rotating Day Shifts
Shift Options:
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Occasional: 10:00 AM 6:00 PM 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
Additional Requirements:
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Occasional
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Note: This is a travel assignment. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation while adhering to established safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on patient care technical precision and collaboration with clinical teams to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures in compliance with safety and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging exams
- Operate and adjust radiographic equipment for optimal image quality
- Review patient history and clinical information prior to procedures
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images as per physician requirements
- Educate patients on procedures and provide reassurance to enhance comfort
- Monitor patient safety throughout imaging processes
- Evaluate images for technical accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate records and proper image labeling
- Assist physicians with specialized procedures when needed
- Manage workflow efficiently to support departmental productivity
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory
- Follow infection control safety and compliance guidelines
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Deliver excellent patient and team-oriented customer service
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT preferred)
- ARRT certification (or registry eligible) required
- Active Massachusetts State Radiology License required
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
