Note: This is a travel assignment. Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation while adhering to established safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong focus on patient care technical precision and collaboration with clinical teams to deliver high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform radiographic procedures in compliance with safety and departmental protocols
Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging exams
Operate and adjust radiographic equipment for optimal image quality
Review patient history and clinical information prior to procedures
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images as per physician requirements
Educate patients on procedures and provide reassurance to enhance comfort
Monitor patient safety throughout imaging processes
Evaluate images for technical accuracy and completeness
Maintain accurate records and proper image labeling
Assist physicians with specialized procedures when needed
Manage workflow efficiently to support departmental productivity
Coordinate equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory
Follow infection control safety and compliance guidelines
Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Deliver excellent patient and team-oriented customer service
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT preferred)
