A day in the life
You will work closely with software engineers designers scientists go-to-market teams and executives to bring the future of the tablet UI to customers. This role will focus not only on what customers see on their device but how they interact with their tablet the technical architecture that enables the features and the business value the experience delivers. A successful candidate will be analytical empathetic and adept at solving complex problems with simple products customers love.
About the team
The Amazon Devices team designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics including the best-selling Kindle Fire TV and Echo. Our tablets are among the most popular consumer electronics devices on the market with easy access to millions of apps games movies books and more. It is just Day 1 for Amazon devices and we are looking for proven customer-centric product leaders to help continue to innovate and grow our device business.
- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
