Job Description

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships across a portfolio acting as the main point of contact for inquiries issue resolution and satisfaction.
  • Identify growth opportunities and pursue new business leads increasing revenue through strategic initiatives such as expansion and pricing optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Sales Operations Category Management) to design and execute strategic plans that support customer growth cost efficiency and business ease.
  • Conduct regular business reviews manage tenders and negotiate contracts ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Monitor account performance through key metrics and customer feedback (e.g. NPS) implementing strategies to enhance customer experience and loyalty.
  • Oversee the annual audit process ensuring compliance with CHEPs policies and recovering any outstanding equipment fees.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at reducing transport costs and improving supply chain efficiency driving value for customers and optimizing operational processes.
  • Support the integration of sustainability initiatives with customers contributing to CHEPs broader corporate social responsibility objectives.

About the Role:

Data & Reporting
Ensure the correct understanding of business reports and Customer KPI monitoring reports
Update and use Salesforce as the daily tool to report business activity
Ensure the opportunity sales funnel is updated at all times
Ensure Audit completion process and targets are achieved

Stakeholder management
Understand the needs and priorities of new business opportunities through the appropriate commercial approach
Increase awareness of CHEP in the market and promote our pooling business model
Manage the interface between Customers & CHEP and ensure service is provided

Formulate a business plan for each customer account to protect and grow the account to meet and exceed annual targets.

Build networks and relationships with stakeholders at all levels within
customers supply chains & other departments.

Manage commercial tender and contract negotiations with customers
Define and elaborate strategic Account Plans.

Experience:

5 years on Sales/customer service in a service company where analysis and attention to detail are key success factor.

Substantial phone service of customers as well as face to face.

Worked with financial measures and KPIs.

Worked successfully in a matrix structure.

Skills & Knowledge:

Personal: Analytical excellent listener attention to detail relationship builder team player excellent communicator.

Languages:

Portuguese and English.

Desirable: Spanish.
