Injury Management Advisor

The role

This is a hands-on role where you will lead injury management and return-to-work outcomes across Huon.

Youll partner closely with leaders employees and external stakeholders to ensure injuries are managed proactively compliantly and with care - driving both strong people outcomes and operational continuity.

Reporting to the Head of Safety & Wellbeing you will:

• Lead end-to-end injury management and return-to-work processes across multiple sites
• Act as a trusted advisor coaching leaders to confidently manage injury and RTW outcomes
• Partner with employees treating practitioners and insurers to support safe and sustainable recovery
• Ensure timely reporting claims management and legislative compliance
• Analyse trends and claims data to identify risks and drive continuous improvement
• Champion our We Care Early Intervention program

About you

Youre experienced pragmatic and confident influencing at all levels. You balance compliance with care and focus on achieving meaningful outcomes - not just managing process.

To be successful you will bring:

• Proven experience in injury management and return-to-work ideally in a complex or multi-site environment
• A relevant qualification in RTW WHS allied health or a related discipline
• Strong working knowledge of workers compensation and injury management frameworks
• Experience coaching leaders and managing sensitive or complex situations
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive accountability
• Experience using data and insights to improve performance and outcomes
• A current drivers licence and willingness to travel within Tasmania as required
