This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced client-focused environment and wants to make an impact through thoughtful project planning and a Project Manager youll lead the delivery of environmental field programs working closely with internal teams clients and stakeholders to support regulatory compliance across upstream and midstream oil and gas projects. From analyzing data and guiding environmental decisions to ensuring seamless execution youll play a key role in delivering high-quality work that aligns with both client expectations and our company are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager with a strong background in assessment remediation and reclamation program management within the oil gas and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will a minimum of five years of expertise in environmental site assessments (Stage 1 and Stage 2 PSIs and DSIs) regulatory compliance and environmental closure processes including coordination with provincial and federal permitting requirements. Lead the development strategic planning and successful execution of remediation and reclamation projects ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory standards. Engage with diverse stakeholders including Indigenous partners landowners regulators and energy producers to align project goals and address community reports plans and assessments pertaining to the investigation reclamation remediation and management of contaminated project reporting ensuring accuracy compliance and alignment with project and interpret collected field data and write comprehensive technical reports. Oversee budget tracking and manage contractor relationships to ensure project milestones and financial objectives are to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established health safety and quality standards. Lead project safety initiatives report potential hazards and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. Showcase your Education & Expertise Undergraduate degree in one of the following disciplines: science or engineering. 5 years of experience in environmental project management with a focus on site assessments remediation and reclamation within the oil gas or energy -depth knowledge of environmental site assessments (Stage 1 and Stage 2 PSIs and DSIs) and regulatory compliance particularly with BCER and federal permitting professional must be a member in good standing with a British Columbia professional association. Familiarity with environmental remediation reclamation and restoration techniques especially on contaminated sites and spill-impacted in designing and executing site characterization delineation programs and spill response/clean-up strong interpersonal skills communication skills and technical writing skills.
