Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group is a family-owned Aged Care provider operating 41 Residential Aged Care Homes with in-home and community care programs in WA ACT and NSW. Were looking for a passionate Work Health and Safety Coordinator based in Sydney to join our growing team supporting our suite of Residential Aged Care Homes across NSW QLD and ACT. This is a roving role with regular travel across Sydney-based homes as well as occasional travel to regional NSW Canberra and Queensland (including the possibility of overnight travel).

Your role

Youll be the go-to person for all things WHS across our NSW QLD and ACT operations reporting to the Senior WHS/Injury Management Partner based in QLD and supported by two WHS Coordinators (Perth-based). Youll partner with Management teams and HR Business Partners to foster a strong proactive safety-first culture ultimately promoting our safety philosophy: Prevent Protect Care Safety starts here with you. This diverse and exciting opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the Aged Care sector contributing to a Safe and Healthy Work Environment for our Care Workers Nurses and Corporate Staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and embed Donesafe
  • Manage hazards incidents risk assessments audits and training
  • Develop and review SWMS SOPs and WHS documentation
  • Provide safety advice support HSRs and promote WHS & wellbeing initiatives
  • Prepare and present safety performance reports

What youll bring

  • Qualifications in WHS (minimum of a Cert IV in WHS)
  • Proven experience in a front facing WHS role preferably in the Health Aged Care or Disability sectors
  • Drivers License reliable vehicle and willingness to work across metro and regional homes in NSW and ACT
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in engaging influencing and working with teams at all levels
  • A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities
  • Workers Compensation experience is ideal but not essential
  • National Police Clearance (within past 6 months) 2026 influenza vaccination and full working rights in Australia
