Schedule: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM 37.5 hours/week (5 days/week)

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to support surgeons and residents in an oral surgery clinic and ambulatory operating/procedure room setting. The technician will provide comprehensive chair-side and sterile field assistance to ensure safe efficient and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort patients to surgical chairs and perform pre-procedure screening
• Review patient medical records to ensure completeness and procedure readiness
• Provide consistent four-handed assistance during surgical procedures
• Prepare organize and maintain sterile surgical instruments trays and equipment
• Ensure all surfaces countertops and equipment are properly cleaned and disinfected prior to setup
• Assist in taking radiographs before during and after procedures as required
• Monitor patient vitals and support clinicians with suctioning instrument passing and medication assistance
• Break down procedure rooms dispose of medical waste and reset operatory areas
• Restock and manage surgical supplies and inventory
• Respond promptly and effectively to clinical emergencies as needed

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
• Minimum 3 years of experience (5 years preferred) in surgical or dental/oral surgery settings
• Strong clinical communication skills (written and verbal)

Education

• Associates Degree required
