Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to support surgeons and residents in an oral surgery clinic and ambulatory operating/procedure room setting. The technician will provide comprehensive chair-side and sterile field assistance to ensure safe efficient and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Escort patients to surgical chairs and perform pre-procedure screening
Review patient medical records to ensure completeness and procedure readiness
Provide consistent four-handed assistance during surgical procedures
Prepare organize and maintain sterile surgical instruments trays and equipment
Ensure all surfaces countertops and equipment are properly cleaned and disinfected prior to setup
Assist in taking radiographs before during and after procedures as required
Monitor patient vitals and support clinicians with suctioning instrument passing and medication assistance
Break down procedure rooms dispose of medical waste and reset operatory areas
Restock and manage surgical supplies and inventory
Respond promptly and effectively to clinical emergencies as needed
Minimum 3 years of experience (5 years preferred) in surgical or dental/oral surgery settings
Strong clinical communication skills (written and verbal)
Education
Associates Degree required
Work Environment
