Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile CT / X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team. This role requires proficiency in both CT imaging and general radiography supporting a variety of patient care settings including emergency and inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans including routine and advanced studies such as Head Chest Abdomen/Pelvis CTA (Head/Carotid) and PE studies
- Conduct X-ray procedures including chest abdomen extremities spine pelvis and musculoskeletal imaging
- Operate portable radiography equipment for bedside imaging
- Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
- Maintain imaging equipment and follow all safety and compliance protocols
Patient Population
- Adult Acute Care
- Emergency Department patients
- Adult Outpatients
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- New York State License (Required)
- ARRT Advanced Certification (Preferred)
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with portable imaging
- Strong background in:
- Extremities
- Abdomen / GI
- Spine / Pelvis
- Head imaging
- Chest / Thorax
- Musculoskeletal imaging
- Upper & Lower Extremities
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a community hospital setting
