Senior Account Manager, Taiwan FSI Sector

Job Summary
About the Role
The FSI Sector Account Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets within an assigned territory by building deep customer relationships identifying and qualifying new opportunities and closing deals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts owning the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to contract close while coordinating internal AWS resources to support customer needs.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the number: Meet and exceed monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets across your assigned public sector accounts
- Drive pipeline: Proactively identify qualify and develop new sales opportunities through direct customer engagement partner collaboration and territory planning
- Build executive relationships: Establish and maintain trusted relationships with CXO-level and senior decision-makers to position AWS as the preferred cloud partner
- Develop account plans: Create and execute detailed account strategies that align AWS solutions with each customers digital transformation priorities and budget cycles
- Coordinate internal resources: Engage Solutions Architects CSM Industry Specialists Professional Services and Partner teams etc. to support deal execution and customer success
- Accelerate transformation and adoption: Identify customer transformation opportinity and drive upsell and cross-sell motions across AWS services and solutions
- Forecast accurately: Maintain a healthy well-qualified pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to AWS leadership

The Taiwan FSI team is a high-growth high-impact team focused on accelerating cloud and AI adoption across banking insurance and capital markets. We work with some of Taiwans most strategically important financial institutions engaging at the CXO and VP level to drive meaningful digital transformation. The team operates with a strong execution culture collaborative customer-obsessed and always looking for innovative ways to solve complex business and technical challenges. You will work closely with Solutions Architects Customer Success Managers Industry Specialists Professional Services Training and Partner teams to deliver outcomes that matter to customers. - 10 years of business development partner development sales or alliances management experience
- Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service or experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Experience working with financial services partners
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams across business development marketing operations product development and legal
