Stone Fabricator

Summary/Objective

This position works within the fabrication inventory and material handling areas of the department
Essential Functions
Will work on fabrication of stone quartz or solid surface materials depending upon business requirements
Responsible for sanding solid surface pieces with electric and air polishing tools as assigned
Loading and unloading of granite marble solid surfaces and quartz slabs with the use of forklifts and forklift
attachments adequate training will be provided
Ensure the proper maintenance of production equipment on a regular basis; filters dust collectors oiling of
machinery or other types of devices as assigned
Maintain a well-organized clean and safe work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by management in support of initiatives

Competencies/Skills/Abilities

High School Diploma or GED required
Prior stone or solid surfaces fabrication experience preferred
Ability to multi-task and working within specified timeframes
Ability to work in a fast paced self-directed environment
Current Fork Life Certification required
Ability to problem-solve

This is a full-time position that requires overtime as business needs dictate.
