The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact
1. You will assist senior engineers in the mechanical design and analysis of various transformer components and systems develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD).
2. You will conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations to support design decisions and participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
3. You will support the preparation of technical documentation including specifications reports and bills of materials also collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing quality and supply chain.
4. You will assist in problem-solving and root cause analysis related to mechanical design issues contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department and adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
1. You can be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles materials science and manufacturing processes with keen interest in the energy industry and electrical transformers.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) is highly preferred.
4. Basic knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) principles is a plus with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in English both written and spoken.
