Job Summary
Follow SLE managers supply chain quality strategy and management to set up and maintain a harmonious relationship between Coherent and supplier and to ensure the quality stability of raw materials.
Work with SCM to integrate and share supplier resources to decrease the cost of supplier chain management.
Work with RD/NPI Engineering and quality team to qualify new supplier and new part for new projects.
Take supplier graded management material category management and establish scientific and effective supplier management.
Implement supplier audit plan according to supplier audit annual plan including QSA QPA suppliers social & environmental compliance etc. Provide reasonable proposals to suppliers to enhance supplier quality.
Evaluate supplier performance analyze the improvement opportunities drive supplier to improve quality performance continuously.
Familiar with supplier PCN agreement and procedure. Coach supplier to comply with PCN agreement train suppliers regularly. Verify and manage material PCN according to PCN procedure decrease the risk of material change.
Establish Incoming quality control for raw materials create inspection procedures and criteria training IQC technician and inspector.
Dispose incoming inspection abnormality material complaint from production line IPQC&FQC and customer drive supplier to improve the raw material.
Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor or above degree in science and engineering or equivalent.
Familiar with IS9001/TL9000 system requirements has the qualifications of internal or external auditor.
Proficient in a variety of quality improvement methods such as 8D FEMA，MSA CAR PDCA FAI QC tools).
Experienced supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineer strong knowledge of supplier quality principles and tools.
Possess strong leadership skills to drive material issues to closure.
Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
Strong ability to work under multiple pressure and travel flexibility.
Proficient in ERP system Minitab and office software etc.
English skill: CET-4 or above fluent in listening speaking reading and writing.
Flexible for domestic and international travel.
