Job description:
Serves as an Application Specialist in Mining Technology industry. Leverages mining technology application knowledge to increase safety and improve mining operations process change management increase customer loyalty and improve sales force effectiveness. This position supports new and ongoingMineStarCommand for Hauling operations. Application Specialist manages the autonomous tucks fleet supporting mining customersonachieving a safer and more productive operation. Also supplies recommendations back through the Product Development group to influence future product development. This position will influence market requirements trends and key areas for product improvement. The Application Specialist is assigned to a mine site and reports the operation and system performance to a Technology Site Manager assigned to the same operation.
Whatyou willdo:
Drive customer recognition of value ofMineStarCommand for Hauling Technology product feature design improved processes and change management.
Supports customers on the Capacitation/Training strategy and organization
Provides on going basic training of customer personnel in areas of expertise
Provides technical expertise related to CaterpillarMineStarTechnology products.
Provide operational support to the Autonomous Trucks operation.
Support customers by providing basic product application expertise
Consults with site on basic features and processes are in place to support mining technology
Benchmarks site performance using several metrics to ensure continuous improvement
RecommendsMineStarBest Practices
Support customers through the change management process
NPI Contribution
Increase product-positioning knowledge for Caterpillar
Provides feedback to product feature/benefits
Participate in Field Follows as needed
Increase / share technology industry knowledge
Increase application expertise and transfer knowledge to others within Caterpillar.
Identify and document job/application profiles based on field observation working with customers
Servesas team members to establish best practices and knowledge share
Increase awareness & presence of caterpillar in the mining technology industry
Improve the industrys perception of Caterpillar.

Skills you will have:

Relationship Management:Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.
Technical Excellence:Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Field Support: Knowledge of and experience with providing post-sales support; ability to support maintenance of hardware products.
Basic Requirements:
University Degree: Mining Engineering (desired) orequivalent experience
Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Powerpoint Word Exceletc)
English Intermediate
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Knowledge in data analytics and experience indata basereporting (ex. SQL SAP BOPowerBI)
Working background in Mine Operation Dispatcher MiningPlanning or Fleet Management
Driver License
Knowledge of mining technology products and product applications including Fleet Management systems.
Minimum of 1 year of experience within Mining Industry or Mining Technology (Systems and Practices)
English Advanced

Work Schedule: 7x7 rotating shift
Location: Escondida Antofagasta
