The Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting function (remote).

This is not a support role.

You will be the sole accounting resource for the company responsible for maintaining clean accurate books and ensuring the financial foundation of the business is strong organized and reliable.
You will work directly with the founders and have full visibility into the financial operations of a global luxury brand.

What You Will Own
You will be responsible for managing the entire accounting function including:

Core Accounting

• Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks Online
• Record all financial transactions accurately and on time
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor payments
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing and collections

Monthly Close & Reporting

• Own and execute the monthly close process
• Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L Balance Sheet Cash Flow)
• Deliver a clean monthly reporting package to leadership
• Identify and explain key financial trends and variances

Payroll & Compliance

• Manage payroll through QuickBooks Online / Gusto
• Ensure payroll taxes and filings are completed accurately and on time
• Support onboarding/offboarding from an HR and payroll perspective

Inventory & Cost Accounting (Important)

• Maintain accurate inventory accounting (raw materials WIP finished goods)
• Track cost of goods sold (COGS) and gross margins
• Ensure proper flow of costs through inventory to financial statements

Systems & Process Ownership

• Establish and maintain clean scalable accounting processes
• Improve workflows and introduce automation where appropriate
• Coordinate with external CPA for year-end tax filings

What Were Looking For
This role requires someone who can operate independently and take full ownership.

Required

• 5 years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience managing full monthly close independently
• Hands-on experience with AR AP and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with inventory-based or product businesses
• Experience managing accounting as the sole or primary accountant
• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies
• Background in public accounting or CPA track

• Founders have confidence in the financials without needing to dig
