Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Millwright Mechanic with a strong background in automotive manufacturing and injection molding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on injection molding machines and related equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic issues efficiently
-
Support production by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime
-
Install align and commission machinery and equipment as required
-
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals
-
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
-
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company policies
-
Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance
-
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
Required Qualifications
-
Valid Millwright / Industrial Mechanic License (433A preferred)
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing
-
Hands-on experience with injection molding machines
-
Strong knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics and mechanical systems
-
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery
-
Experience working in a high-volume production environment
-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with robotics and automation systems (e.g. Fanuc ABB)
-
Knowledge of PLC systems and basic electrical troubleshooting
-
Experience with mold changes and setup
-
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
Work Environment

Fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility

Shift work may be required (days/afternoons/nights)
