Guarini Dean's Postdoctoral Fellowship in Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences
Job Summary
Dartmouth College invites applications for a Guarini Deans Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences. This fellowship supports scholars whose research addresses cancer biology radiation biology tumor resistance and/or translational approaches to improve cancer addition the fellowship promotes student and faculty diversity at Dartmouth and throughout higher education by supporting completion of the doctorate by scholars committed to inclusive access in higher education. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their academic achievement promise in research and teaching and demonstrated commitment to academic excellence in an environment that is welcoming to all.
This is a two-year residential fellowship with one course taught in the second year. Fellows are expected to pursue research activities while participating fully in the intellectual life of the department and the college. Fellows receive an annual stiped of approximately $60000 plus benefits and an allocation for research expenses (exact funding levels will be set at the time of offer).
Guarini Deans Postdoctoral Fellows are part of the Provosts Fellowship Program a multidisciplinary cohort of approximately ten predoctoral and postdoctoral scholars who share a commitment to increasing inclusive access in their disciplines and higher education. Fellows participate together in mentoring and professional development programming including guidance in preparing for faculty careers.
Applicants should have a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology Neuroscience or a related field.
