Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor - Business Services the Identity & Access Management Agent is responsible for the provisioning of network and application user accounts and access privileges across the Manitoba Healthcare system. The incumbents work closely with Customers Service Desk Application Support Teams and Infrastructure Support Analysts.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in the following areas:
    • Provisioning network and application accounts.
    • Providing software related technical support within a medium to large business environment.
    • Enterprise class computing environments wide-area and/or local-area networks.
  • Experience in service delivery using Best Practices such as ITIL processes is preferred.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated access management workflows would be considered an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Undergraduate degree and/or diploma in Computer Science/Computer Analyst program from a recognized university or community college or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience supporting customers in an IT environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of ITSM Service Request tracking/work order management software tools.
  • Knowledge of IAM software such as Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan work establish priorities and adapt these plans and priorities in the face of unpredictable software and hardware challenges.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Proven effectiveness in high-stress environments.
  • Extensive use of phone and PC is required.
