THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently on the lookout for a Design Engineer to join our ATS Engineering team. Based in Langley BC Canada this role is a prime chance for individuals passionate about technical design and product innovation. YOUR MISSION

Major Responsibilities:

• DesignAutomaticTransferSwitches(ATS)and control panels.

• Analyze customer specifications anddatasheets.

• Develop and review schematics wiring diagrams control logic BOMs and layouts; ensure design packages areproduction ready.

• Undertakecontroller forPLCprogramming and configuration.

• Execute new product development (NPD) projects from concept through production release including requirements design outputs prototyping verification and launch support.

• Own engineering deliverables acrossrequirements ofdefinition design outputs documentation and change control.

• Support certification activities with technical documentation and test support; prior UL1008 experience is beneficial but not.

• Liaise with sales Fieldserviceand production teams to resolve technical challenges.

• Improve standard components and productsleveragingrobust analytical techniques.

• Aid inaddressing routine technical issuesdemonstratinga strong problem-solving acumen.

ARE YOUTHE ONE

Required Education Experience and Skills:

• Abachelors degree in electricalengineering ordemonstratedequivalentexpertise.

• 2-5 years ofdesignexperiencewithElectricalsystemsor electric panels like ATS Switchgear industrial controlsetc

• PLC programming and/or troubleshooting experience.

• Proficiencyin using AutoCAD Classic.

• Recognized by piers to be ambitiousself-starterenergeticorganizedand highlymotivated.

• Stellar communication skills in English encompassing both written and oral dimensions.

• An inherent drive for innovation and continuous improvement with a keen sense of curiosity.

• Dynamic methodical and driven by initiative.

• Fluency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for company-sponsored authorization.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical.

• Familiarity with Visual Factory is an advantage.

• Experience with certificationstandards anddocumentation(UL/CSA)is preferred.

• Experience with ERPe.g. SAP
