Job Overview

The Senior Advisor Business Intelligence supports the client in delivering high-quality data and analytics solutions to drive informed business decision-making across Energy Conservation Market Development & Business Development Sales P&GA and other internal stakeholders. The position involves identifying and managing data sources guiding analytics processes establishing data quality standards and collaborating with the Technology team to implement and enhance analytics systems. The role also leads special analytical initiatives promotes data-driven culture and explores emerging tools and technologies to improve analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the analytics team including best practices recommendations on data sources tools and technologies and guidance on BI implementation
• Support end-to-end analytics processes including requirements gathering data extraction cleansing analysis visualization validation and delivery of data products
• Collaborate with the Technology team to identify implement and maintain systems for collecting validating and analyzing data
• Define and enforce data quality standards partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance
• Lead and manage multiple projects including special BI initiatives and ad hoc analytical assignments
• Act as a subject matter expert in customer analytics sharing insights and educating stakeholders on data platforms tools and methodologies
• Establish and improve processes and governance frameworks for data and analytics across the client
• Provide expertise in data validation consolidation and cleansing methodologies
• Develop and document business and system knowledge to build a sustainable analytics knowledgebase
• Translate data into actionable insights by developing compelling data stories and strategic recommendations
• Utilize visualization tools and statistical techniques to enhance products and improve customer experience
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops to identify innovative uses of data in business operations
• Apply strong business and technical acumen to problem-solving project execution and identifying opportunities while maintaining awareness of cross-functional dependencies

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Mathematics Economics Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• 8 years of experience in business intelligence data analytics business analytics marketing market research or customer care
• Advanced proficiency in SQL including querying and integrating data from multiple sources and maintaining data systems
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Power BI MS Visio and GIS tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analytical insights in clear business terms
• Strong technical writing skills for developing and maintaining documentation
• Demonstrated ability to collect organize analyze and interpret large datasets to meet business needs
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
• Strong facilitation skills with experience leading workshops and driving adoption of analytics in business processes
• High adaptability and comfort working in ambiguous environments with iterative solution delivery
• Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
