Position Overview:

Finning Canada is seeking Washbay Attendants to join our team at Mildred Lake. As the Washbay Attendant you are responsible for washing new used rental and customer equipment detailing equipment and moving equipment in and out of the shop.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Moving equipment in and out of the shop
  • Washing and detailing of equipment
  • General clean up of shop yard and machines
  • Other General Duties as required

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate and be mechanically inclined
  • Experience with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Important Information:

  • Minimum three months of operating experience of rough terrain forklift counterbalance forklift compact construction equipment large construction equipment familiarity with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset
  • Due to physical nature of the work a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work in the following environment: fast-paced work under pressure tight deadlines repetitive tasks handling heavy loads physically demanding manual dexterity attention to detail hand-eye co-ordination ability to distinguish between colors standing for extended periods bending crouching kneeling
  • Team player with a keen attention to detail
  • Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
