Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager the Accounts Payable Summer Student is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable segment in the Accounting Department by ensuring all vendor invoices are processed and paid according to the companys policies and procedures. Additionally the Accounts Payable Summer Student responsibilities include maintaining the relationship with the vendors and working on continuous process improvement within the AP roles and responsibilities. This role involves frequent internal and external contacts within well-defined procedures.

What are we looking for

Innomar Strategies is looking for Summer Students to join our team. Were looking for dynamic passionate and driven students looking to gain hands on experience within a variety of different departments. We have opportunities available within our Finance Department.

What will you do

As a Summer Student with Innomar you will assist with a variety of assignments within our Finance Department. You will be supported by a designated manager through the summer and you will assist with a variety of function-specific job assignments. You will also contribute to the completion of established projects and initiatives.

The goal of our Summer Student placements is to provide meaningful job opportunities to students.

Requirements/Qualifications

• You are enrolled in an undergraduate program with an accredited post-secondary institution in a Finance related program

• You are available on a full-time basis between May 4th August 28th 2026

• You have strong organizational skills

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal

• Strong interpersonal teamwork and leadership skills

• Strong computer skills including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite

• Bilingualism French/English an asset

• Customer service experience an asset

• Must be eager to learn self-motivated flexible accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Minimum two (2) years of AP management or other related bookkeeping experience.
Post Secondary Education in a related field preferably Accounting.
Proven knwledge within a co-pay environment
Experience working with an ERP System Sage is an asset.
Knowledge of SOX is an asset
Intermediate computer skills; MS Word Excel Outlook.
