Youll be the strategic force behind transformative brand work that drives exceptional results for the clients portfolio. Working at the intersection of social strategy digital & AI innovations and cultural insight youll translate complex brand challenges into powerful creative briefs and thoughtprovoking strategic frameworks that exceed expectations. What you will be doing:

  • Lead strategic output across paid and organic sociale commerceand data driven marketing (Precision PRM Performance).
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative research into compelling insights and creative briefs.
  • Partner with discipline leads toidentifygrowth opportunities and convert them into client initiatives propositions and thought leadership.
  • Build andmaintaintrusted relationships with the clientsstakeholders; shape and communicate the evolving role of strategy in their transformation.
  • Raise the bar for strategic thinking and creative excellence across thestudio.
  • Ensure brand digital and social strategies areunderstood and activated at market level across global operations.
  • Uncover cultural and behavioral insights that create competitiveadvantage.
  • Spot strategic and commercialopportunityin every brief and drive innovation in team structure contentdeliveryand campaign models.
  • Drive development and adoption of AI capabilities across the strategy team while safeguarding strategic rigor and creative craft.
  • A proventrack recordin strategic planning within creative/agency environments withstrong evidenceof brand growth and creative excellence
  • Strategic and commercialexpertisethat connects insight to business outcomes and measurable brand impact
  • Deepunderstanding of digital and social ecosystems including platform dynamics content strategies and performance marketing
  • Expertisein social and digital strategy across paid/organic social e-commerce and data-driven marketing channels
  • The ability to simplify complexityunpicking challenging problems and transforming them into clear compelling strategies and ideas

  • Strategic integration of AI tools (ChatGPT Claude cultural intelligence platforms social listening AI consumer insight tools) to enhance research efficiency and insight quality
  • Agentic leadership: systematic approach to complex strategic challenges breaking down multi-brandNorth Americasprogramsinto clear strategic frameworks
  • Experienceusing AI to accelerate research synthesis trend identification and insight generation whilemaintainingstrategic rigor
  • Understanding of AIs role in creative strategy development with ability to guide responsible implementation that enhances rather than replaces human creativity
  • Advanced agentic thinking for strategic planning:identifyingoptimalapproaches to brand challenges and executing with clear strategic reasoning
  • Ability to drive AI capability development across strategy teams whilemaintainingthe craft of insight and creative briefing excellence

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 8 years in strategic planning roles within creative or digital agency environments
  • 5 years working at Director level with direct client leadership and team mentorship responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience with FMCG clients or similar large-scale multi-market accounts (strongly preferred)
  • Experience across social digital and integrated campaign strategy
  • Track recordof developing strategies that have driven measurable brand and business growth
  • International or multi-market strategic experience (preferred)
  • At the time of thisposting the base salary for this position may range from CAD $157250.00 to CAD$175750.00.Individual compensation varies based onjob relatedfactors including location business needs level of responsibility experience and qualifications. The range listed is just onecomponentof OLIVERs total compensation package.
