Host
You are the beginning of an exceptional food & beverage experience at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. As a Host you will make our guests Feel Welcome from the moment they arrive!
What you will be doing:
- Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting and provide engaging service
- Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Understand shift end reports in the outlet and POS system
- Coordinate and control flow of outlets seating plans and special events
- Follow outlet policies procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Must possess and maintain a valid Serving it Right! certification
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
Additional Information :
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with valid work permit or visa. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization in Canada.
