Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Cheesemaking Attendant for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Cheesemaking Attendant is responsible for the manufacturing of cheese making in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by the company.

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 3:30pm to 12AM

Salary: $26.15

There are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment with a target rate of $27.55/hour.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Focus on quality and customer satisfaction while complying with all policies and procedures of the Health and Safety and Food Safety program regulations.

• Complete all processes related to the making of cheese (ex. pH testing temperature sampling pumping & pressing loading/unloading of curd Threading bagging & carting of cheese set-up).

• Accurate completion of all required documents and sanitation procedures including washing carts and skids before use.

• Setup takedown and sanitation of all parts and equipment when required as per standard operating procedures.

• Meet or exceed daily production efficiency requirements provided by Supervisor or Production Manager.

• Any other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Production Manager.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Employment record currently in good standing (Attendance Performance Behaviour).

• Food/dairy/manufacturing experience an asset.

• Accuracy attention to detail and good communication skills.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to multi-task.

• Ability to read write and perform basic math.

• Team player but can also work independently.
