Position Overview:
This role is a key administrative and operational support position within the Public Works department. It involves handling a variety of assignments that require strong judgment attention to detail and the ability to manage exceptions to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounting transactions and support SAP-related activities
- Handle and process access permits accurately
- Supervise and guide administrative/clerical staff as needed
- Oversee daily office operations
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements
- Maintain records and ensure documentation accuracy
- Verify and process documents as per procedures
- Manage inventory tracking and control
- Coordinate inter-office communications and mail
- Resolve administrative issues and discrepancies
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Completion of Grade XI (or equivalent)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- SAP or similar financial system experience is an asset
- Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Good communication and leadership abilities
