The Student Project Coordinator will provide administrative coordination and analytical support to IT project teams. Working under the guidance of a Project Manager the student will assist with organizing project activities maintaining documentation tracking progress and supporting communication across internal teams and external partners.

Your Mission:
Project Coordination & Administration
- Assist with planning and coordinating project meetings including preparing agendas distributing invitations and capturing meeting minutes and action items
- Maintain and organize project documentation records and artifacts in accordance with PMO standards
- Support day-to-day administrative activities for assigned IT projects
Project Tracking & Reporting
- Assist in maintaining project schedules timelines and deliverables under the direction of the Project Manager
- Track project performance metrics milestones and progress indicators
- Compile project data and help prepare status updates dashboards and progress reports
Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of contact for routine project communications between internal teams and external resources (e.g. vendors) as directed by the Project Manager
- Communicate project plans actions risks and issues to team members in accordance with PMO guidance
- Assist in escalating risks issues and dependencies to the Project Manager in line with the project work plan
Resource & Team Support
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring task assignments and resource utilization
- Help ensure project team members are aware of timelines expectations and deliverables
- Assist in managing coordination between multiple teams working on the same project
Continuous Improvement & Learning
- Identify and flag coordination challenges or process gaps and suggest improvements
- Gain experience with PMO tools templates and governance processes Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions as appropriate
What You Bring to the Table:
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g. Business Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field)
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following defined processes and guidance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)
- English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bilingualism (French and English) may be required depending on the specific role location and the needs of the organization
Compensation: At BioScript your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role level and geographic location.
