Nexthink Developer
Job Summary
The Nexthink Developer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining technical solutions within the Nexthink platform to enhance Digital Employee Experience (DEX) through automation analytics and proactive issue resolution.
Nexthink Developer and the Nexthink Platform Coordinator will work together to ensure the effective design implementation and continuous optimization of the Nexthink platform driving improvements in Digital Employee Experience (DEX).
Job Responsibilities
Development & Automation
- Design and implement investigations dashboards alerts segmentation logic and automation workflows;
- Develop Nexthink Remote Actions for automated remediation and self-healing;
- Create and manage campaigns for user interaction and data collection.
Validation & Optimization
- Validate all configurations through testing false-positive analysis and performance review prior to production.
Scripting & Engineering
- Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell Bash (mandatory);
- NQL and NEAL (mandatory);
- Optimize scripts for performance reliability and reusability.
Platform Management & Governance
- Ensure platform performance scalability and data accuracy;
- Maintain a centralized Configuration Registry (documented versioned use-case linked);
- Operate within change governance frameworks ensuring all changes are classified approved and traceable;
- Perform platform hygiene activities: retire obsolete logic consolidate redundancies reduce technical debt.
Integration & Analytics
- Integrate Nexthink with ITSM and enterprise systems via APIs;
- Analyze endpoint data to identify trends issues and improvement opportunities;
- Deliver actionable insights and technical recommendations;
- Support cross-platform automation workflows.
Risk & Issue Management
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues;
- Identify and escalate platform risks (performance governance conflicts) through defined channels.
- Hands-on experience with the Nexthink platform;
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell Bash NQL and NEAL);
- Experience with Windows/macOS endpoint environments;
- Knowledge of APIs and system integrations;
- Understanding of ITSM / ITIL processes;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
