Junior Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a smart and reliable Junior Test Automation Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team.

The ideal candidate has excellent abilities in Test Management experience with different types of systems and structures (application interface and underlying subsystems) good test automation skills DevOps awareness and scripting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements specifications and technical documentation

• Create and maintain the IV&V specific testing Artefacts (testing plans test scenarios definition test execution defect handling test completion reports etc.)

• Carry out the IV&V activities on the system integration platform until the system acceptance

• Create and maintain test automation frameworks based on projects needs as well as performing research (Proof of Concepts)

• Participate to projects ceremonies (i.e. Agile Waterfall V-Model)

• Based on business needs travel outside the country may be required

Requirements:

Knowledge and skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or similar background

• 1-2 yearsworking experience in software testing/system testing

• 1 year of experience using test automation tools (test automation frameworks implementation would be a plus)

• Experience in testing Web applications and APIs.

• Experience with programming languages such as Java/Python/JavaScript/TypeScript

• Experience with frameworks like Playwright Selenium Robot Framework or similar

• Knowledge of continuous integration build and deployment tools

• Knowledge of JIRA ticketing system or similar systems

• Proficiency in test case design test execution and defect tracking

• ISTQB certification is a plus

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Fluent in English

• Police record clean
