Electrical Troubleshooting Technician – Retrofit Trains

The role involves electrical modifications and troubleshooting activities on retrofit railway projects.

• Replace wiper low-speed and washer pump relays with contactors
• Implement wiring corrections for RMF feedback to ATC
• Execute RFC closures
• Install deadman bypass in rescue mode
• Replace deadman acknowledgement sound with new buzzer
• Read and interpret electrical schematics cable logs and cable routing journals
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and hands-on modifications in accordance with technical documentation
• Mark up AFTER changes as per SPS (Service Programming System) data

Qualifications :

• Proven ability to read interpret and work with electrical schematics
• Ability to interpret and implement a cable log / cable routing journal
• Basic English language skills (beginner level)
• Preferably certified electricians or technicians with hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting
