Junior Futures Clearing Trade Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for aJunior Futures Clearing Trade Analystto join a leading global financial institution within its ExchangeTraded Derivatives (ETD) Operations team. This role supports the full endtoend clearing lifecycle for listed futures and options and plays a key role in ensuringaccuratetrade processing strong controls and compliance with clearing house and regulatory requirements.
This position is well suited to a candidate who hasat least six months of handson relevant experiencewithin futures or ETD clearing operations and is looking to continue building specialistexpertisewithin a fastpaced highstandards environment.

Hybrid model / onsite for34 days per week
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Validate futures andoptionstrade flow from frontoffice systems through to clearing houses.
- Monitor intraday and endofday positions ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks clearing exceptions and unmatched trades.
- Perform daily cash balance and position reconciliations between internal systems and CCPs or clearing brokers.
- Review initial and variation margin calls issued by clearing houses.
- Support margin payments and collateral movements in coordination with Treasury teams.
- Liaise with clearing houses and brokers ( CME Eurex)regardingtrade queries margin issues and operational events.
- Support product lifecycle events including contract expiries rolls deliveries andoptionexercises.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and exchange requirements (e.g. EMIR MiFID II).
- Identifyprocessing inefficiencies and contribute to automation or workflow improvement initiatives.
- Support system enhancements UAT testing and process change initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant handson experiencewithinfuturesclearing ETD operations listed derivatives operations or a closely related function(this is essential).
- Practical understanding of futures and options products and the ETD trade lifecycle.
- Exposure tomargin processes and clearing house interaction.
- Strong attention to detail and a controlfocused mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure in a deadlinedriven environment.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables formulas; VBA an advantage).
- Familiarity with ETD operational systems such as GMI SEALS ATEO/LISAexchangeGUIs or reconciliation tools such as DUCO.
- Clear communication skills and willingness to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
