You will join a global platform team responsible for backend development automation and operational support for a large-scale payment and disbursement platform. The role combines Java backend engineering with DevOps practices focused on ensuring smooth delivery resolving technical blockers and enabling high-quality secure releases in a cloud-native environment.
You will
- Remove blockers for development teams and support smooth delivery
- Maintain communication with technical architects and management regarding progress and issues
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure all quality gates are met
- Prepare production-support walkthrough documentation
- Create and maintain release checklists and delivery artefacts
Must have
- 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of Java or Groovy Bash/Shell Unix/Linux
- Experience with Cloud Native technologies: Kubernetes Docker Kafka Istio
- Experience with Jenkins GitHub and CI/CD automation
- Experience building and maintaining distributed containerised environments
- Ability to deliver automated deployment pipelines
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Fluent English and Polish
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale global platform environments
- Understanding of DevOps processes and operational readiness
