Location: Genoa Italy

As a Technical Support Intern you will embark on a dynamic learning journey with Philips IT Health Imaging products contributing to international project delivery for the EMEA region. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the end-to-end delivery of monitoring/alerting solutions for Radiology Informatics and related infrastructure elements.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Technical Services Team in the project delivery setting assisting in installations and upgrades of Radiology Informatics solutions.

• Perform technical installations of radiology software ensuring application readiness completing installations and handling technical configurations.

• Support end-to-end delivery of monitoring/alerting solutions for PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) RIS (Radiology Information System) VNA (Vendor Neutral Archiving)

• Troubleshoot system failures document solutions and ensure efficient service delivery.

• Classify prioritize and resolve issues to maintain solution uptime and data safety.

• Customize monitoring tools produce technical reports and support the Monitoring Platform roadmap.

Requirements:

• Technical School (IT background preferred) or Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

• Basic technical knowledge in software/hardware solutions including Windows OS servers storage and troubleshooting.

• Strong analytical skills attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.

• Knowledge of networking monitoring tools databases virtualization and scripting languages would be a plus.

• Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.

This 6-month extracurricular internship in Genoa Italy offers hands-on experience in Technical Support and Radiology Informatics.
