WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The roles within the Sofia Client & Business Development Team are responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Team members build strong trusted relationships with key client representatives supporting them in managing needs requests projects and change management processes.

The role also includes responsibilities as Project Manager for projects involving clients and SimCorp teams across Consulting Development IT and Business Services within SimCorp Italiana.

Business Development

  • Support the SimCorp Italiana MD in defining Sofia BU sales targets by developing a sales strategy focused on existing and new customers.
  • Translate company sales targets into actionable plans for upselling to existing clients.
  • Build tailored action plans per client based on potential interest and upsell opportunities.
  • Define pricing structures and service level agreements for new contracts modules services and projects.

Activities include:

  • Identifying sales and upselling opportunities
  • Preparing offers RFIs and RFPs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Participating in product demos together with SimCorp Consultants
  • Negotiating and preparing contract renewals and new contracts
  • Maintaining and updating the commercial database

Account Management

Act as the main point of contact for existing clients for all needs outside of Sofias Help Desk service.

  • Promote additional modules and services
  • Manage client projects (project plan creation aligned with internal capacity planning project coordination timeline and target monitoring client reporting)
  • Define register and plan new activities (development or consulting)
  • Produce feasibility studies with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct periodic SOTA (State of the Art) meetings with clients

Commercial Back Office

  • Maintain the relationship with client procurement representatives ensuring timely purchase orders and accurate instructions to Finance for invoicing
  • Perform credit collection activities
  • Produce periodic contractual reports on SLAs and support the calculation of service fees
  • Monthly updates of client files (software configuration rental fees order details)

Marketing & Communication

Responsible for all communication and marketing initiatives aimed at promoting SimCorp Sofia and its services.

  • Create content and update the SimCorp Sofia website newsletters and brochures
  • Prepare official SimCorp Sofia presentations
  • Organize events to promote SimCorp Sofia independently or in cooperation with Group Marketing

Budget & Forecast

  • Define the revenue budget and coordinate with the Finance Department on revenue forecasting

Internal Projects

  • Contribute to company internal projects leveraging the teams project management skills (e.g. Corporate Responsibility Customer Service Ticketing implementation GDPR activities)

External Consultants Management

  • Manage commercial back-office activities related to thirdparty providers supporting SimCorp Sofia development
