AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. The AWS Direct Connect team delivers solutions that make it easy for customers to establish a dedicated network connection from their premises to the AWS cloud. These connections help to reduce network costs increase bandwidth throughput and provide a more consistent network experience than Internet-based connections. Direct Connect is currently available in more than 130 locations in 84 cities located in 32 countries.
Key job responsibilities
In this role of Tech Infra Program Manager (TIPM) you will provide project leadership anticipate bottlenecks mitigate project risks quantify the impact of making tradeoffs and balance business needs against technical constraints. The team has a challenging task of balancing cost schedule and innovation-based problems. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment and contributing to innovative solutions while demonstrating leadership technical competence and meticulousness. This TIPM will lead infrastructure deployment projects across a wide range of technologies and standards. This role will give you an opportunity to work with many different teams across the organization to deliver solution.

- 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience
- Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (i.e. network data center hardware software)
- Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
