Job Summary

Classification Title:	OPS position
Classification Minimum Requirements:	High School Diploma
Job Description:	Prepare culture media reagents and solutions following standard protocols Isolate culture and maintain fungal and bacterial plant pathogens Conduct molecular diagnostics (e.g. DNA extraction PCR as applicable) Ensure proper lab organization sterilization and biosafety compliance Assist with experimental setup execution and data collection in lab and greenhouse trials Support pathogen inoculation assays disease severity evaluations and sample processing Maintain accurate and organized records of experiments and results Assist with data entry basic analysis and preparation of reports
Expected Salary:	$14.00 hourly
Required Qualifications:	High School Diploma
Preferred:	Availability to begin employment in May 2026 Ability to follow detailed protocols and maintain accurate records Strong organizational time management and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
