Parents children and staff work together towards restoration under the Newpin core values of Safety Equity Empathy respect and you need to succeed:A minimum Cert IV in Business Admin and / or Community ServicesUnderstanding of child protection issues and the ability to identify and address these issues with families when of the impact of trauma and experience working with families/ children who have been affected by traumaExceptional Administrative skills and high-level proficiency in MS Office (particularly Outlook MS Word and Excel).Understanding of culturally safe and sensitive service deliveryDemonstrated ability to work co-operatively with colleagues (internal and external).Current drivers license and commitment to transporting families in organisational families is an important element of this with NSW Working with Children Check and National Police History Check requirements.A demonstrated commitment to social change and contributing to an organisation that advocates for the most and Torres Strait Islander children and families are overrepresented in this program and within the child protection system. Appropriate cultural knowledge and understanding is important to deliver effectively in this role.
