Associate Engineer Business Intelligence

What success looks like in this role:

We are looking for a Data Analyst with 24 years of experience in data analysis strong SQL skills and hands-on reporting experience across BI tools. The role requires high competence in SQL for in-tool reporting and strong proficiency in Excel including advanced formulas and Power Query to deliver accurate and actionable insights.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools (Power BI Tableau Qlik or similar)

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction transformation and in-tool reporting

• Use Excel extensively for data analysis reporting advanced formulas and Power Query transformation

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements

• Stay current with evolving data tools technologies and best practices

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• ITSM processes

• Servicenow reporting

• Servicenow Performance analytics

• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries joins subqueries performance optimization)

• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server Oracle MySQL etc.)

• Advanced Excel skills including formulas pivot tables and Power Query

• Experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI preferred; Tableau/Qlik acceptable)

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen
