Job Summary
Are you an experienced and motivated leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a regional community We are seeking a dynamic Practice Manager to lead the operations of our Medical Centre in Tallangatta ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-focused care while maintaining strong business performance.
About the opportunity
As Practice Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day to day management administration and strategic direction of the Medical Centre. You will support GPs nurses and staff to deliver exceptional healthcare services while driving operational efficiency compliance and financial sustainability.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61-bed small rural public health service providing a mix of acute sub-acute residential aged care and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. You are a proactive and organised professional with strong leadership and business acumen. You thrive in a fast paced healthcare environment and are passionate about supporting teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key skills and experience include:
- Previous experience in practice management or healthcare administration
- Strong understanding of Medicare billing and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of accreditation standards (e.g. RACGP) is highly desirable
- Experience in financial management and reporting
