About the role
As a Delivery Lead in Operational Excellence you will lead medium to large initiatives from planning to delivery and embed outcomes into business as usual. Working closely with senior leaders you will align delivery to strategic priorities improve customer experiences and strengthen governance risk and benefits realisation practices.
What youll do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives ensuring outcomes align with business priorities customer needs and governance requirements.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to scope initiatives develop business cases and support informed investment decisions.
- Manage delivery plans roadmaps and reporting to provide clear visibility of progress risks and benefits.
- Identify and resolve delivery risks and blockers early escalating when required to maintain momentum and quality outcomes.
- Track and realise benefits supporting successful transition of initiatives into business as usual operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for simplification automation and improved ways of working.
What youll bring
- Proven experience delivering initiatives within complex matrixed environments ideally across operations or financial services.
- Strong capability in planning governance and benefits tracking across multiple streams of work.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders applying influence and clear communication to align outcomes across teams.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement agile or lean delivery approaches and how they apply in operational settings.
- Sound understanding of risk management and compliance with the ability to apply these principles throughout delivery.
