Cyber Security Specialist

The Role

The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the organisations security posture across both corporate IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The role focuses on maturing the organisations Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) capability by executing cyber risk assessments enhancing security policies and standards and providing oversight of the vulnerability management lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Support transition and ongoing alignment to NIST CSF 2.0 focusing on the Govern function and integration of business areas and risk strategies.
• Act as GRC SME for Operational Technology collaborating with plant engineers to align manufacturing controls with IEC 62443.
• Draft review and update Information Security Policies Standards and Guidelines to ensure they are practical enforceable and compliant.
• Evaluate security posture of critical suppliers and vendors identifying supply chain risks prior to onboarding.
• Monitor the vulnerability management lifecycle to ensure IT and OT teams meet remediation timelines and produce monthly metrics and dashboards highlighting trends aging risks and SLA breaches.
• Promote a cyber-safe culture through security awareness campaigns.

About You

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Cyber Security or equivalent industry experience
• 3 years experience in Cyber Security Risk Management or IT/OT Audit
• Demonstrated experience with NIST CSF and understanding of other security standards
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business language
• Self-motivated with a strong collaborative mindset
