About the Project & Opportunity:
ACCIONA is a global leader in sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy committed to developing solutions that positively impact communities and the environment. As part of the Western Renewables Link (WRL) project were contributing to one of Victorias most important renewable energy initiatives.
Were seeking a Stakeholder & Community Relations Coordinator to support meaningful engagement with communities and stakeholders across the project area. This is an excellent opportunity for an earlycareer or developing professional to grow their experience while contributing to a purposedriven infrastructure project.
Reporting to the Communications Stakeholder Engagement & Land Liaison Project Manager youll support the delivery of engagement communications and community relations activities across the WRL project. This role includes regular regional travel and ontheground engagement giving you direct exposure to the communities impacted by the project.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Support the development and delivery of clear consistent internal communications
- Assist in maintaining positive respectful relationships with community members stakeholders and project partners
- Respond to and coordinate stakeholder and community enquiries including monitoring the Community Information Line during business hours and escalating complex matters where required
- Assist with planning and coordinating meetings briefings and engagement activities including logistics agendas and materials
- Ensure communications are accurate timely and aligned with project and ACCIONA values
- Maintain stakeholder databases engagement records correspondence logs and reporting
- Maintain and update the Communications Stakeholder Engagement & Land Liaison SharePoint landing page
- Support community consultation activities capturing and recording feedback and insights
- Represent the Project alongside AusNet and senior team members at public events and community meetings
- Travel regularly to regional locations to support ontheground engagement activities
Required Skills and Competencies
About You:
- A degree in communications public relations community engagement or a related discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities with guidance and support
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools such as SharePoint
- A willingness to learn adapt and contribute within a fastpaced project environment
