The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surface blast hole drilling operations in accordance with site requirements safety standards and operational targets. This role suits a reliable operator with mechanical aptitude and proven experience on 2011 and 2022 Pantera DPi 1100 rigs.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Conduct surface blast hole drilling operations in line with RIIBHD301D competency requirements.
Operate and maintain 2011 Pantera DPi 1100 and 2022 Pantera DPi 1100 drill rigs.
Perform routine servicing inspections and minor mechanical maintenance.
Adhere to all safety environmental and operational procedures.
Complete required documentation and reporting.
Work effectively within a team environment on a 2:1 roster (travel in work time).
Essential Requirements
RIIBHD301D Conduct Surface Blast Hole Drilling Operations
Demonstrated experience operating 2011 and 2022 DPi 1100 rigs
Strong mechanical knowledge for servicing and maintenance
Manual Drivers Licence (MR or HR highly regarded)
Ability to pass or hold:
Current medical (or willingness to obtain)
Security clearance and police check (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing as required
Desirable (Highly Regarded)
First Aid certification
MR or HR licence
Previous experience in similar mining or quarrying environments
