Ready to make a real difference The City of Bunbury is seeking an enthusiastic Venue Officer to join our South West Sports Centre in a permanent part-time capacity. As one of the regions premier community facilities the Centre delivers aquatics fitness café and childcare services in a vibrant and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional frontline customer service to members and visitors
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify cleaning safety and maintenance issues
Oversee safe and efficient venue use across dry based facilities
Respond calmly and effectively to operational issues and customer enquiries
Maintain a welcoming professional environment where everyone feels valued
Secure the facility at close of business including alarm operation.
About You
Experienced in customer service and community engagement
Strong organisational skills with a collaborative team-focused mindset
Adaptable and able to think quickly in a dynamic environment
Holds a current Provide First Aid Certificate
Ability to work varying shifts between 2.30pm and 10.45pm including evenings and weekends from Tuesday to Saturday.
