Our client is a well-established Australian law firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney. The firm has recognised capability across areas including Public & Administrative Law Property & Development Planning & Environment Prosecutions and Workplace Relations.
About the role:
- Help to grow and strengthen the firms local capability in the public law space.
- Work across public law administrative law planning-related government matters regulatory work and/or associated disputes.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and have the chance to contribute strategically to the direction and profile of the practice.
The ideal candidate:
- Senior Lawyer Special Counsel or equivalent seniority.
- Strong background in public law administrative law planning local government regulatory or related advisory/disputes work.
- Ideally brings some client following referrer network or clear capability to generate work.
- Confident working autonomously while also collaborating closely with partners and adjacent teams.
