About the opportunity
We are seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to the development of research protocols and drive the execution of research activities. The role involves coordinating grant applications managing data analysis providing research-related advice and collaborating with researchers and stakeholders to ensure effective research delivery and documentation.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
contribute to the design and development of research protocols ensuring timely execution of research activities
coordinate and submit grant applications ensuring compliance with all requirements
provide guidance on research regulations policies and procedures ensuring projects align with standards
assist with data collection and analysis ensuring data quality and accuracy
collaborate with researchers clinical specialists and affiliated partners to share findings and progress
manage the documentation process for research publications from drafting to submission and maintain comprehensive research records
facilitate ongoing communication with a broad range of stakeholders proactively addressing concerns and collaborating with team members to improve stakeholder relations
undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required.
About you
tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
knowledge of and ability to assist with pre-clinical models
experience coordinating and/or managing grant application processes and research administration
experience conducting scientific literature searches and managing research data
experience in people management including staff performance and development
experience working in a research-intensive environment and in the higher education sector
skills in data analysis organisation and time management attention to detail research software computer literacy communication customer service and teamwork.
