Job Summary
Were looking for a Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Planner to join the Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA) a partnership between Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency Fulton Hogan and WSP managing state highways and roading networks across the Greater Wellington Region.

Your planning skills will play a crucial role in how we keep people safe on our network every day. By carefully developing reviewing and refining Traffic Management Plans youll help us deliver safer roads minimise disruption for road users and protect everyone who works on or travels through our sites.
Youll be a key part of making sure safety and quality come first in every aspect of our temporary traffic management operations
Ngā kawenga matua Key responsibilities
- Develop and submit safe sitespecific Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) covering risk planning implementation maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management measures
- Prepare and submit associated consent applications to enable successful traffic management operations
- Ensure TMPs are accurate compliant and meet legislation industry standards and guidelines
- Coordinate with work site teams to support smooth efficient operations and adherence to TMPs
- Support safe temporary traffic management that keeps our crews and the public safe and helps jobs be completed efficiently and to standard
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders resolving or escalating technical questions and requirements as needed

- Site Traffic Management Specialist experience on CAT A B and C roads Non Practising
- Current TTM qualification (desirable)
- Advanced skills in RapidPlan and/or CAD
- Experience and understanding of requirements for a wide range of traffic management operations and activities
- A methodical logical approach with strong problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
