About the Role
Reporting to the New Business Manager you will take end-to-end ownership of Group portfolio pricing.
Youll analyse performance develop pricing recommendations and monitor outcomes to ensure disciplined renewals and sustainable profitability. Youll also identify emerging risks and trends using data to inform strategic and commercial decisions.
Youll work closely across Distribution Underwriting Claims Product Actuarial and Operations as well as global teams and external partners ensuring pricing is commercially sound and aligned to business objectives.
In this key role youll
- Deliver clear data-led pricing recommendations for new and existing Group business
- Analyse scheme performance (claims demographics trends) to identify risks and opportunities
- Monitor portfolio performance (loss ratios margins volatility) to drive profitability
- Provide technical pricing support (data extraction validation reporting) to inform decisions
- Drive continuous improvement across pricing processes including automation and standardisation
To be successful and grow in this role you will ideally bring the following
- Strong experience in Group life insurance (pricing underwriting or portfolio analysis)
- Solid understanding of Group schemes and TPA/IFA structures
- Advanced analytical capability with strong commercial judgement
- Ability to turn complex data into clear actionable insights
- Excellent stakeholder skills
