We provide a fully funded Type Rating at no cost when you remain employed within the Qantas Group for three years.

Joining Jetconnect youll be a part of a closeknit professional crew and play a key role in delivering safe efficient operations while representing the Qantas brand with pride.

Flight Hour Requirements:

• 1500 hours total aeronautical experience.
• 500 hours powered fixedwing multiengine or singleengine turbine time.
• Plus one of the following:
  • 250 hours command on fixedwing aircraft OR
  • 250 hours command (up to 180 hours ICUS) and 500 hours as copilot on a transport category aircraft.

Minimum Qualifications (or ability to obtain before starting):

• Australian CASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A)
  • CPL holders require passes in all Australian CASA or NZ CAA ATPL subjects.
• CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D/3D Instrument Approach endorsements.
• Current MEA Instrument Proficiency Check.
• Level 6 English Language Proficiency on your CASA licence.
• Current CASA Class 1 Medical.
• Eligibility for both ASIC (Australia) and AvSec (NZ) security clearances.
• Valid passport with at least 12 months validity.
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction. NonNZ/Australian passport holders must hold NZ Permanent Residency.
